Pr. Glen Townend, President of the South Pacific Division, took vespers at Vugalei Church, sharing a message based on Matthew 5:13–16. He was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Townend, Pr. Charlie Jimmy President of TPUM and his wife, along with Fiji Mission CFO Mr. Apisalome Seru. In his message, Pr. Townend spoke about Jesus’ teaching that His followers are called to be the “salt of the earth” and the “light of the world,” encouraging members to live lives that reflect positive influence and God’s truth in their communities.
The message highlighted how believers can preserve goodness, bring hope, and shine through their actions so that others may see and glorify God. It was a simple but meaningful reminder for the church to remain active in faith, showing love, grace, and truth in everyday life.
