The Youth Department of the Fiji Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church exists to lead, nurture, disciple, and empower young people across our nation to live lives fully committed to Jesus Christ. Guided by the church’s motto, “I WILL GO”- our mission is to prepare our youth to serve, lead, and finish the work of the gospel in Fiji and beyond.
Our Mission
To build a generation of spiritually grounded, socially responsible, mission-minded youth who are equipped to carry the message of Christ to their peers, families, communities around Fiji Islands and the world.
Departments Under The Youth Ministry
- Pathfinders
The Pathfinder Club is a church-centered spiritual-recreational program designed for 10-15-year-olds. It focuses on holistic development—spiritual, physical, mental, and social—through Bible learning, nature exploration, skills development, and service. Pathfinder camps, fairs, investitures, and honors build discipline, teamwork, and faith. - Adventurers
Designed for children ages 6-9, the Adventurer Club helps lay a foundation of Christian character and family bonding through creative activities, age-appropriate Bible learning, and hands-on experiences. The program emphasizes parental involvement and joyful learning in Christ. - Ambassadors
A ministry designed for ages 16–21, the Ambassador program bridges the gap between Pathfinders and Senior Youth, helping young people stay connected to the church, discover their identity in Christ, and develop leadership and life skills through service and spiritual growth. - Senior Youth / Adventist Youth Ministries (AYM)
Our Senior Youth Ministry focuses on empowering young adults (ages 21–35) to be leaders in mission, discipleship, and service. Through AY Societies, youth rallies, small group ministries, and spiritual mentoring, young people are inspired to live boldly for Christ in their homes, churches, and workplaces. - Public Campus Ministries (PCM)
PCM focuses on Adventist and non-Adventist students attending tertiary institutions across Fiji. We aim to create a spiritual home away from home by supporting faith development, campus fellowship, leadership training, and witnessing opportunities on university and college campuses. - Adventist Students Association (ASA)
ASA is a key arm of the Youth Department for secondary and tertiary students, uniting young people from all educational backgrounds to live and lead boldly for Christ. ASA helps students stay grounded in faith while growing academically, emotionally, and spiritually.
