6 March 2026
Fiji Mission Leaders Pay Tribute to Late Police Constable Peniyasi Racagi
6 March 2026The Fiji Mission office staff were blessed this week to gather for a two-day moratorium, a time of reflection, learning, and spiritual encouragement. The program began with powerful bible messages from Pr. Steve Aquila – TPUM Youth Director and Pr. Bruce Likaveke – TPUM Stewardship Director, who spoke on the theme “Because You Matter.” Through the Word of God, they reminded staff that every person is valuable in God’s mission and that our work in the church is meaningful when it is done with a heart of service.
Staff were also privileged to learn from invited speakers who shared practical lessons for daily life and ministry. Mrs. Naomi Waqawai presented on the topic “Hospitality is a Ministry,” encouraging everyone to see every interaction with visitors, members, and the public as an opportunity to reflect Christ’s love through kindness and service.
Mr. Biu Kaisuva spoke on the importance of healthy living, reminding participants that caring for our bodies is part of our responsibility. He shared the thought-provoking statement, “We are living in a society that is overfed but undernourished,” encouraging everyone to choose foods that truly nourish the body rather than simply satisfy cravings.
The staff were also blessed to have Mr. Pita Vuli from Adventist Technology who shared on the effective use of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft OneDrive. He highlighted the importance of using the digital platforms and systems provided by the church to strengthen communication, improve collaboration, and maintain a more secure network for storing and sharing information.
The two-day gathering was a meaningful time for the Fiji Mission staff to grow spiritually, strengthen relationships, and gain practical knowledge for their work. Through the messages and presentations shared, staff were inspired to continue serving faithfully, knowing that each person truly matters in God’s mission.
