Faith, Persistence, and Prayer: Honoring Women in God’s Mission
7 March 2026Today, on behalf of the Church and the Fiji Mission Office, President Pr. Epeli Saukuru and General Secretary Pr. Senitiki Waqa took time to pay tribute to the late Police Constable 8012, Mr. Peniyasi Racagi.
During this moment of respect and remembrance, prayers were offered for the Racagi family, acknowledging their loss and the service that Mr. Racagi faithfully gave to his community. The Church leadership expressed their heartfelt condolences and stood in solidarity with the family during this difficult time.
The Bible reminds us of God’s promise of peace even in moments of sorrow. In Book of John 14:27, Jesus says, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you… Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” This promise assures us that God’s peace remains with those who place their trust in Him.
As a church family, we continue to keep the Racagi family in our prayers, asking God to comfort their hearts, strengthen them with His presence, and surround them with His peace during this time of grief.
