Somosomo Adventist Church Reclaims Lost Hearts for Christ

In the village of Somosomo on the island of Taveuni, something powerful is taking place at the Somosomo Adventist Church. It is a story of seed sowing, faith, and God’s restoring power.
Over the past month, Pr. Epeli Vaciloa has been faithfully leading Bible studies with members who had not been attending church for a long time. Through the Vuniwai cell group, time was invested in reconnecting, listening, and sharing God’s Word, reclaiming missing members one by one.
What seemed like small efforts began to bear fruit. During the recent Global Youth Week of Prayer, hearts were touched and lives were changed. Five souls made the decision to recommit their lives to the Lord and prepare for baptism. This is a powerful reminder that when seeds are sown with love and persistence, God brings the increase.
As preparations for Fiji for Christ continue, this testimony reminds us that Christ has already gone before us. He is working in hearts, softening lives, and preparing a harvest ready to be gathered.
The mission is clear, keep sowing, keep reaching, and never give up on those who have drifted away.
