Communion in Action: Nayagoyago Church Plant Serves Lautoka Community
23 March 2026A spirit of hope and service was felt in Lawaki Village, Tailevu, as members of the Natua SDA Church (branch of Sawaka) led a meaningful Global Youth Day outreach under the theme Communion in Action.
The program featured a powerful singing ministry presented by Family of Faith Ministry, alongside health awareness sessions conducted by the 10,000 Toes Coordinator. Testimonies shared by church members during the program brought encouragement and inspiration to everyone present. At the same time, the 10,000 Toes team carried out health screenings for villagers, including those from nearby communities, showing Christ’s love through practical care.
This outreach was especially significant as it was organized by a small but growing group of believers in the village. With only six families who are Seventh-day Adventists, many of them newly converted and young couples—this marked the very first time they were able, through God’s strength and guidance, to host such a program in their community.
The response from the villagers was very positive, and many expressed their gratitude and excitement for future programs. Plans are already in place for an upcoming Youth Week of Prayer in the village, where TL Duana will also conduct a “sui ni sarisari” program. The community is eager to welcome more singing ministries and health initiatives in the future.
This outreach forms part of the ongoing preparation for Fiji for Christ, as members continue to share Jesus through both word and action. Praise God for the doors that are opening and the hearts that are being touched.
