Lami SDA Church Engages Communities Through Persistent Prayer Walks
17 March 2026Leaders in communication and media across the South Pacific recently gathered at Adventist Media for an important Media Advisory meeting organized by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the South Pacific Division.
Representatives from unions and missions across the region came together to pray, plan, and share ideas as they looked ahead to the new quinquennium. The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration, improving storytelling, and expanding the mission of digital evangelism through Hope Channel and other media platforms.
Throughout the advisory, leaders discussed strategies to reach more people with messages of hope using television, social media, and digital content. One of the exciting initiatives highlighted was the global “One Voice” program planned for 2027, where the worldwide Hope Channel network will unite around a shared message and coordinated media effort to reach millions with the gospel.
Representing Fiji Mission at this important gathering were Communication and Media Director Mr. Maika Tuima and Digital Creator and Influencer Mr. Lesi Vanuavou. Their participation reflects Fiji Mission’s growing commitment to creative media, digital mission, and impactful storytelling for God’s work in the Pacific.
On the first day of the meeting, leaders shared updates from their respective fields, reflected on the opportunities and challenges in media ministry, and began shaping plans for the future. With prayerful discussions and a united vision, the Media Advisory has set the tone for meaningful collaboration as the region prepares to strengthen its media mission and join the global Hope Channel family in speaking with one voice in the years ahead.
