2010.8.1 (주일) 8월 첫 주 성찬 예배 – ‘삼위일체 하나님 믿음으로 모든 것을 행하십시오 Act anthing with faith in Trinity God' – 피지 선교사 김응철 목사

오전 10시. 피지예수능력교회 2010년 8월 첫주일 오전 예배이다. 32명 (피지인23, 인도인4, 중국인 4, 한국인 1) 이 참석하였다.

이어서 성가대의 찬양 찬송가 9장 (거룩 거룩  거룩 Holy Holy Holy)으로 하나님을 찬양하고, ‘죠지 코로이와다 목사’가 예배를 여는 기도를 성삼위 하나님께 올렸다. 이어서 성도들 전체의 목소리로 찬송가 28장 (복의 근원 강림하사 Come Thou font every blessing) 으로 8월 한 달 성삼위 하나님의 복을 간구했다.

오늘 전해진 하나님의 말씀은 마태복음 9장 27-32절을 근거로 ‘성삼위 하나님 믿음을 가지고 무엇이든지 행하십시오 Act anything with faith in Trinity God’ 를 선포했다.

말씀이 끝나고, 2010 년 8월 성례전을 집례하였다. 오늘은 ‘죠지 코로이 와다’ 목사와 함께 성찬 성례전을 집례하였다.

 

성례전을 마치고, 헌금 축복기도는 찬송가 214 장 (변찮는 주님의 사랑과 Let us sing of his love)을 찬양하고, 드려진 예물 위에 축복기도를 한 후, 찬송가 4장 (성부성자성령 Glory to the Father) 을 찬양한 후, 축도로 예배를 마쳤다. 오늘도 성삼위 하나님의 나라가 영원하소서! 아멘

설교문: 성삼위 하나님 믿음을 가지고 무엇이든지 행하십시오

Act anything with faith in Trinity God

I. Introduction Dear brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ! – Trinity God bless you. Say!

1. Regarding yesterday JPC picnic,

(1) Last one week during nearly whole days, it was raining.

(2) JPC planned to have picnic fellowship on the last Saturday of every month.

(3) On Saturday early morning about 4 o’clock, during my sleep I heard rain sound.

   I prayed ‘My God! Stop raining.’ Soon, I heard raining sound reduced.

(4) I woke up 6 o’clock, and I heard no sound of raining. I prayed ‘Thanks, my God.’

(5) I tried to send text to JPC member ‘good weather for picnic.’

(6) On that time, I saw Pst. Joji message to my mobile phone. I heard his voice,

“Moksa-nim, we cancelled picnic, because of..”

(7) I turned off mobile to hear more what he told. I continually sent text “good weather

for picnic.” During sending text, Pst Joji called me again, and said, “we cancelled…”

I told him, “No cancel, God provides good weather, sunshine.”

(8) I picked members at Tovata, Narere, Kalabu. During picking up, it was raining.

(9) When I drive to Suva point, raining was more strong.

(10) But I believed, God will give good weather, sunshine, and fresh air, not hot.

(11) When we arrived at Suva point, there was good place with good sunshine and

 fresh air and very quiet for our picnic, because people not came.

  2. Through this actual story, we found what is faith, what is not faith.

(1) For morning message of God, I always prayed one week, which message I deliver.

(2) In this week, I didn’t get answer of God, which message is delivered to JPC.

(3) On Sat. morning, through this picnic story, God told me “write this message of ‘Act

anything with faith in Trinity God.’”

(5) And same time, God quietly touched me, “Pst Joji need training of faith to be pastor.”

(6) Say to pastor Joji! ----- Trinity God! Forgive my weakness of faith in you.

From now on, I will believe in you strongly like rock.

(7) I pray first for today’s message of God ‘Act anything with faith in Trinity God.’

3. Dear JPC saints! We must actually know what faith is and how to keep true faith.

  (1) Christian faith starts through accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior.

     And we start to believe in Trinity God – Yahweh Father, Christ Jesus, Holy Spirit.

     These people are called as Christians who keep faith in Trinity God.

Then, how these people can show their faith in their actual life?

    (2) Bible Hebrew 11:1 clearly says what faith is and how we make faith into reality;

       “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”

     This scripture says two truths about what faith is and how to show it;

1^st, faith is to actualize what we hope into substance = reality now.

2^nd, faith is to actualize what we do not see into evidence = proof now.

(3) If I say with other word,

   Faith is action to make nothing into something.

   Faith is action to make unseen into seen.

Faith is action to make impossible into possible.

Faith is action to make poor into rich.

   Faith is action to make rain into sunshine. ------ Hallelujah!

4. Then, from now on, I will proclaim two messages of Trinity God.

1^st message of God: Keep power of Christian faith.

2^nd message of God: Believe in Trinity God’s existence and His word.

II. 1^st message: Keep power of Christian faith Dear saints of JPC!

Here are real faith’s cases. Let’s learn power of faith.

1. What our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ told about power of Faith?

(1) In Mk.9:22, Jesus told epilepsy boy’s father,

"Everything is possible for him who believes."

(2) In Mt.8:13, Jesus said to Centurion, who asked his servant healing,

       "Go! It will be done just as you believed it would."  

(3) In Mt.21:21, Jesus said to Apostles, even mountain can be moved by faith;

   “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done

to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it

will be done.”

(4) In Mk.11:24, Jesus declared power of prayer and power of faith;

   “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it,

and it will be yours.”

=è These words of Jesus our Lord and Savior verify power of faith.

    Dear saints of JPC! Do you believe there is power of faith? If – say Amen!

2. 83 years old Abraham believed in descendants like stars in heaven.

(1) Yahweh called 75 years old Abram Babylonian as believer in Yahweh God. At that

time wife Sarai was 65 years old, and was barren. Yahweh God promised Abram

“I will make you into a great nation” (Gen.12:2). Great nation meant Abram’s children.

(2) 8 years after, Yahweh God came to Abram, and took him outside and said,

“Look up at the heavens and count the stars--if indeed you can count them. So your

offspring shall be."(Gen.15:5)

(3) At that time, wife Sarai was 73 years old and was past the age of childbearing.

   About God’s promise of children, what Abram responded to God?

Gen.15:6 says, “Abram believed Yahweh.”

   Abram what he believed? ------- Abram believed Yahweh God.

   This means Abram believed Yahweh God’s existence and power to fulfill promise.

(4) Because Abram believed Yahweh God’s existence and His power, even he has no

any baby now and wife Sarai was impossible to have baby, Abram believed His

descendants will be so many like as stars.--- This belief is so so wonderful!

    (5) In human eyes, we can never believe this promise. But Abram and Sarah believed

it. Bible Heb.11:11 says how they got baby and what they believed;

       “Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a

child when she was past age, because she judged God faithful who had promised.”

   This scripture says; 1) By faith, Sarah got God’s strength to conceive seed.

                     2) Sarah believed Yahweh God’s faithfulness to keep promise.

=è This is faith. By our faith in God’s faithfulness of promise, we can get God’s

strength. Abraham and Sarah showed us to believe in God’s faithfulness of His

promise, and to keep God’s strength and power by faith in Trinity God.

3. At King Hezekiah’s reign in Judah, Sennacherib king of Assyria attacked Judah.

(1) King Hezekiah asked Isaiah pray. Yahweh God’s word came to Isaiah “Be not afraid

of the words which you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have

blasphemed me. I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and shall return

to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land. ” (2Ki.19:6-7)

(2) Assyria king sent another letter to Hezekiah king. So, Hezekiah king entered into

 temple of God and prayed, “Yahweh, bow down your ear, and hear the words of

Sennacherib, which had sent him to reproach the living God. O Yahweh our God, deliver

us from his hand, so that all kingdoms on earth may know that you alone are God.”

(3) What Yahweh God answered? 2Ki.19:35-36 says, "That night the angel of Yahweh

went out and put to death 185,000 men in the Assyrian camp. When the people got up the

next morning--there were all the dead bodies. So Sennacherib king of Assyria broke camp

and withdrew. He returned to Nineveh and stayed there.”

=èThrough this story, we can find what faith is, and how to show it; who killed

enemy 185,000 soldiers? God’s angel: By Hezekiah king’s faith, God’s power was

actualized into the battle site. Like this our faith must be showed through our action.

4. At early time building Christian church, leaders of Judaism persecuted Apostles.

 (1) King Herod arrested some Christians, and had James put death with sword.

And Jews arrested Peter and put him into prison to kill tomorrow.

(2) About this very urgent situation, what Christian church members had done?

   Ac.12:5 says, “the church was earnestly praying to God for Peter.”

   Because church members believed in Jesus Christ to protect and rescue Peter,

they prayed. --à then, what God answered to this prayer?

 (3) Ac.12:6-10 writes what God had done towards church members’ faith; Read!

    “Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on

the side and woke him up. "Quick, get up!" he said, and the chains fell off Peter's wrists.

Then the angel said to him, "Put on your clothes and sandals." And Peter did so. "Wrap

your cloak around you and follow me," the angel told him. Peter followed him out of the

prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he

thought he was seeing a vision. They passed the first and second guards and came to the

iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When

they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.”

=è Dear saints of JPC! ------------ Through this story, what we can find about faith?

    Surely there is living God and there is working God.

Christian Bible says He is Trinity God – Yahweh Father, Christ Jesus, Holy Spirit

    Human being cannot send angel of God. God only can do it. How? By faith.

    Like as this, faith in Trinity God calls God’s presence and brings God’s power.

    So, those only who truly believe in Trinity God’s existence and power can

actualize what they hope and what they want to get. ------ Praise Trinity God!

III. 2^nd message of God: believe in Trinity God’s word Dear saints of JPC!

   So far now, we found truth of Trinity God’s existence and His power, and this truth

comes to those only who believe and act to realize it.

Then, what we should do to act anything with faith in Trinity God? Two: believe, act

1. Believe God’s promise and let’s don’t make our faith weak, it surely is fulfilled by our

   action; Rom.4:19-21, In hope against hope Abraham believed…Without becoming weak

in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about 100 years old,

neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb; yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did

not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God.

2. Believe God’s word which come to us is surely fulfill through our action; God told,

Isa.55:11, my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will

         accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

3. Believe God’s power, God’s co-working with us, when we act like as accepted it;

 (1) Jas.2:17, 22 says, “If it is not accompanied by action, faith by itself is dead…

Abraham’s faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete

by what he did.ӏFaith always works together with our action. No action, no result.

 (2) Therefore, act like as already gotten what we hope, seen what we want to see.

    If we want to see good weather without raining, pray and go picnic. God works it.

    If we want to be rich person, pray it and live wealthy person’s life.

 (3) When we act what we believe, God’s power works inside believer.

    When we act what we works for God, God is co-working for us. This is truth!

May Trinity God’s existence and power be with you and your family all forever. Amen.
