오전 10시. 피지예수능력교회 주일 오전 예배이다. 50명 (피지인34, 인도인 14, 한국인 2) 이 참석하였다. 어제 토요일 ‘데비드 알리와 도란 알리’ 가 교회 주변인 네파니 지역에 가서, 교회 홍보지를 전달하고 왔었다. 전단지를 보고 인도인 두 가족과 피지인 한 가족이 오늘 예배에 참석하였다.

예배는 다음 순서로 진행되었다.

어린이 특별찬양.

오늘 전해진 하나님의 말씀은 ‘죄 커지기 전에 회개하고 돌아서라 Before sin bigger, repent and turn’ 였다.

말씀이 끝나고, 치유기도가 필요한 성도들에게 치유기도를 하였다.

 

예배가 종료되고, 피지예수능력교회 4개 부서별로, 기도회를 가졌다.

저녁 7시. 피지예수능력교회 저녁예배이다. 성도 32명 (피지인 30, 한국인 2)이 참석하였다.

협력목사, 피지 ‘죠지 코로이와다’ 목사의 예배 인도와 말씀을 마치고, 2개 부서의 특별 프로그램을 가졌다.  특별 프로그램은, 성삼위 하나님을 기쁘게 하기 위한 목적으로, 교회 내 셀 또는 부서들이 특별히 준비한 찬양, 율동, 드라마 등등을 선보이는 시간이다.

먼저, 로달라비치 셀 인원들이 찬양하였다.

다음에, 예배부 팀원들이 찬양하였다.

설교문: ‘죄 커지기 전에 회개하고 돌아서라 Before being sin bigger, repent and turn’

(Jas.1:14-15)

I. Introduction Dear brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ! We must be blessed persons. How to?

Today God’s message will give us hint; So, please listen well to today’s message of God

Title of God’s message is ‘Before sin being bigger, repent and turn to God.’

1. Today’s scripture Jas. 1:14-15 says, “each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.”

  (1) Own evil desire = own lust = è selfish desire: myself only, myself, myself benefit………

  (2) If any Christian keeps selfish desire in or out of church, Satan starts to tempt him/her.

     When Satan tempts selfish man, his selfish desire has conceived and gives selfish man the birth of ‘sin son, sin daughter.’ --- Selfish man’s desire brings forth sin son/daughter.

  (3) When ‘sin son or sin daughter’ is growing and full- grown, it means sin is bigger bigger,

     Then, that full-grown sin kills selfish man. ‘your sin son and sin daughter’ kill you.

  (4) What means ‘death of selfish man? ----àit means selfish man lose faith. He leaves God.

     When selfish man leaves God, God leaves selfish man. He turns back to the world.

  (5) How much selfish desire is dangerous to believer’s life?

(6) Therefore, most important what we should do is ‘In church or out of church, please don’t keep selfish desire. And don’t allow selfish desire make your sin grown. Before your sin being grown, repent and turn to God, and don’t bring selfish desire to the church.’

 Then, we can control selfish desire, we can control sin, and we can keep faith.

 But on the contrary, if anyone keeps selfish desire, he/she easily violates rule of church, and not respect church pastor, not well attend church service, and not put offering and hinders God’s work ---à Finally he/she leaves church, lose faith.

(7) Once again, remember the meaning of Jas. 1:14-15, If we keep own selfish desire in Christian life, that desire welcome Satan to tempt us. Then that selfish desire grows more big (selfish desire pregance). Then grown selfish desire gives birth to sin; and when sin is full-grown, full-grown sin gives selfish man birth to death = it means selfish man’s faith death.

2. Then, in Christian life, what are more dangerous selfish desires to lead us our faith lost?

  (1) According to my spiritual experience and biblical word, more dangerous selfish desires’ sin to lose faith are two; 1^st is sin violating rule of Sabbath Day,

2^nd is sin violating rule of Tithe & offering.

  (2) In Christian life, there are many rules which make our faith weaken. But as long as we do not violate these two rules in Christian life, we can keep faith through whole life, because two rules are the core and basic duty and responsibility of Christian life.

  (3) From now on, we will study two rules; Sabbath Rule, Rule of tithe & offering rule.

II. Sin violating Rule of Sabbath Day Dear

1. Ex.20:8-11, Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, Six days you shall labor and do all your work. but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. For in six days Yahweh made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore Yahweh blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

     Dt. 5:12-15, Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as Yahweh your God has commanded you. Six days you shall labor … but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God. On it you shall not do any work, …Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that Yahweh your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore Yahweh your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.

(1) Term of Sabbath came from Hebraic word ‘Shsbath’ meaning ‘rest or stopping’.

   So, Sabbath day was the Memorial Day to praise Yahweh God’s two works – Creation of universe and Exodus His people from slave.

(2) Therefore, Sabbath day means God’s peoples’ gathering day at God’s house, to praise God’s creation work and God’s graceful work for His people’ independence from slave.

(3) And at Sabbath day which God rested, God supplies His people ‘spiritual rest and need, mental rest and need, physical rest and need’. So, through observing Sabbath day,

1) Covenant between God and His people could be reminded.

2) God’s people could keep identity as the member of God’s family.

3) God’s people could show their devotion to God.

   It is why, Yahweh God made ‘Sabbath day’ and commanded ‘observe the Sabbath day.’

(4) According to Jewish traditional counting method, they observe Sabbath day is the 7^th day of the week; it is Saturday.

(5) But according to Christians who believe in Jesus the Christ, 1^st day of week is the Sabbath, because at the 1^st day of the week – it is Sunday, Jesus the Christ had done grateful three salvation works; 1^st Jesus triumphal entering Jerusalem to give freedom to those who believe in Jesus, 2^nd Jesus resurrection from the dead on the 1^st day of the week - Sunday, 3^rd Jesus sending Holy Spirit on the 1^st day of the week - Sunday.

      (6) So, to memory Jesus salvation works, early Christians who believe in Jesus the Christ gathered at one place; Ac.20:7, On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight.

      (7) From this moment, Christians made 1^st day of the week – Sunday is Sabbath day, and Christians started to have service on Sunday. Therefore, at the 1^st day of the week – Sunday, Christian must gather at God’s house = Jesus’ church to praise Trinity God = Jesus Christ, Yahweh God, and Holy Spirit.

      (8) This is the rule to observe the Sabbath day --- Satan knows well this rule. Therefore, Satan always tries to tempt God’s people to violate this rule of Sabbath day.

2. Then, if God’s people violate the rule of Sabbath day, what thing will happen to them?

   (1) Here is one case violating rule of Sabbath day; Num.15:32-36, While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day. Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly and they kept him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him. Then Yahweh said to Moses, "The man must die.” The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp. So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as Yahweh commanded Moses. -à When man violated rule of Sabbath day, God’s punishment came upon him; curse followed him; when curse followed him, his faith in God is destroyed, and he died spiritually and mentally and physically.

   (2) Here is another case about rule of Sabbath day; Ex.16: 23-30, Moses said to Israelites, "This is what Yahweh commanded: 'Tomorrow is to be a day of rest, a holy Sabbath to Yahweh. So bake what you want to bake…. Save whatever is left and keep it until morning. So they saved it until morning, as Moses commanded, and it did not stink or get maggots in it……Moses said, "because today is a Sabbath to Yahweh. You will not find any of it on the ground…Nevertheless, some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather it, but they found none. Then Yahweh said, "How long will you refuse to keep my commands and my instructions. Bear in mind that Yahweh has given you the Sabbath; …Everyone is to stay where he is on the seventh day; no one is to go out. So the people rested on the seventh day. -à When Israelites kept the rule of Sabbath, they were blessed, but when they violated rule of Sabbath, God’s punishment came upon them.

   (3) Here is more case about rule of Sabbath day; when south Judah kingdom violated rule of Sabbath, what thing happened to them? Jer.17:27 warned Israelites, But if you do not obey me to keep the Sabbath day holy by not carrying any load as you come through the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day, then I will kindle an unquenchable fire in the gates of Jerusalem that will consume her fortresses.--- > this message was given to south Judah, if Judah kingdom do not keep rule of Sabbath day, God will allow Babylon will destroy Judah country and even though Solomon temple will be burn out. But Judah country did not observe rule of Sabbath; Jer.52:12-13 explains God’s punishment on Judah country, in the nineteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard, who served the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem. He set fire to the temple of Yahweh, the royal palace and all the houses of Jerusalem. Every important building he burned down.  -à Even though God chose Israelites as the country of God, when they violated rule of Sabbath day, God destroyed His country and his people. è This rule is same to Christian.

(4) On the contrary this, if God’s people observe the rule of Sabbath day, God surely promised His blessing; Isa.56:2, Blessed is the man who does this, the man who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.

   (5) Dear brother and sisters of Jesus Christ! --Are you well observing Church service day?

      1) Some of JPC members are very faithful to keep rule of JPC service. Continually keep it.

         Surely through whole your life, Trinity God surely will be with you and bless you.

      2) Some of JPC members are not well observe JPC service rule. Please here this voice;

        “Before sin bigger bigger violating church service, repent and keep it.”

III. Sin violating rule of Tithe & Offering Dear JPC saints! Here is another rule we should keep.

    It is rule of Tithe and offering. This rule also is the core and basic responsibility of Christian.

    1. Here is God’s law about rule of tithe and offering;

      (1) Num.18: 20-21 says, why all Israelites must put tithe and how priest live the life; Yahweh said to Aaron the priest, "You will have no inheritance in their land…; I am your share and your inheritance among the Israelites. I give to the Levites all the tithes in Israel as their inheritance in return for the work they do while serving at the Tent of Meeting.

      (2) Therefore, for God’s workers’ living expenses, Israelites must put tithe and several kinds of offerings – guilty offering, fellowship offering, thanks offering, 1^st fruit offering…

      (3) By God’s this rule, Israelites kept well the rule of Tithe and offering. But gradually they started to violate the rule; They brought not precious offerings and when they keep selfish desire, they brought less offering or tithe than they ought to bring; Mal.1:8, God said to Isralites, When you bring blind animals for sacrifice, is that not wrong? When you sacrifice crippled or diseased animals, is that not wrong? Try offering them to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you?" says Yahweh Almighty.

      (4) Moreover among Israelites, some did not put tithe and offerings; Mal. 3:8, Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me…In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse--the whole nation of you--because you are robbing me à By violation of rule tithe and offering, all curses were overflowed over Israelites’ life, even to nation.

    2. On the contrary, if God’s people keep rule of whole tithe and offerings, God  promised His blessing; Mal.3:10, Yahweh Almighty says “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse..Test me in this, and see if I will open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.”

    3. At this moment, we must know what is tithe and offering and to whom they belong; Old Testament and New testament says, “Tithe & offering belong to God and tithe & offering are tax in the country of kingdom of God”,

2Ch.24:6, Joash the king said to Jehoiada the chief priest, "Why haven't you required the Levites to bring in from Judah and Jerusalem the tax imposed by Moses the servant of Yahweh and by the assembly of Israel for the Tent of the Testimony?"

Mt. 22:21, Jesus Christ says to Pharisees’ disciples, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's." -à Jesus said, tithe and offering belong to God.

4. This is the rule of tithe and offering which Christian must observe.

(1) Satan knows well this rule. So, Satan always tries to tempt God’s people to violate tithe & offering rule. This temptation is very powerful to lead Christian losing faith, working now.

(2) Dear JPC saints! ---------- Are you well observing the rule of tithe & offering?

      1) Rule of tithe and offering is the blessing tool, just as God promised.

      2) If you are well observing tithe & offering rule, keep it continually, your pocket not dried.

      3) But if you are not well, before sin violating tithe & rule bigger bigger, please repent it and turn to God to keep rule of tithe and offering. Then, you can keep faith through life.

      4) Satan now works to tempt you to violate tithe & offering rule, cast Satan away from you.

2009.11.13 (금) 하나님핵심지식 제1단원 ‘성령’ – 제10주제: 성령의 열매 – 피지 선교사 김응철 목사

오후 3시. 피지영성장센터. 하나님핵심지식 수료과정 제1단원 ‘성령 Holy Spirit’ 강의가 시작되었다. 일주일에 5일씩 강의를 한다 (월, 화, 수, 목, 금요일). 오늘은 7명(피지인 목사 1, 피지인 크리스천 6)이 참여하였다.

하나님핵심지식 강의는, 매주 다음 일정에 따라 진행되고 있다.  

오늘의 강의 진행은.

(1) 찬송가 202장 (죄에서 자유를 얻게 함은 Would be free from burden and pride) 을 찬양하고, 죄 씻는 기도를 한 후 ‘아다 부나케데’가 정결기도를 하였다.

(2) 복음성가 2360 (사랑은 오래참고 Oh love is patient) 를 부르며, 성삼위 하나님의 사랑의 마음을 채우는 기도를 한 후, ‘필립페 왕가랄라’ 형제가 시작기도를 하였다.

(3) 이어서, 영적 전투기도를 한 후, 하나님핵심지식 제1단원 ‘성령’ 의 제10주제 ‘성령의 열매’ 에 대한 강의를 하였다. 강의는 먼저, 칠판에 그려진 요점 정리를 설명하였다.

‘성령의 열매’ 주제는 어떻게 하여 하나님핵심지식으로 정리가 되었는가?

(4) 요점 설명이 끝나고 교재를 읽어 가면서, 제10주제 ‘능력은사’를 공부하였다.

(5) 강의가 완료 후 찬양하고 질문표에 따라 작성된 내용을 보고하며 구하는 긴급간구 기도와 개인별로 능력을 공급받는 기도를 한 후에, ‘솔로모니 부디카리아’ 목사가 종료기도를 하였다.

저녁 7시. 피지영성장센터. 하나님핵심지식 수료과정 제7단원 ‘영적인 사람들의 길 Spiritual Men’s Way’ 강의가 시작되었다. 매주 목, 금요일 1주일 2회씩 저녁 7시에 강의가 시작된다.

예수능력교회 교인과 외부에서 온 목사와 크리스천들 10명 (피지인 목사 2, 인도인 목사 1, 피지인 성도 7명)이 참석하였다.
